Tenacious Stories is a dynamic screen production company dedicated to creating bold, captivating stories with a strong female lens. Founded by actor and producer Josephine Croft, the company is committed to bringing original narratives to life; stories that inspire, challenge, and resonate with audiences worldwide.

The company launched with the passion project documentary Hitting Zero: A Legacy, which began as a web-series on YouTube before being developed into a feature-length film. Now streaming globally on Amazon Prime and other platforms, the documentary follows SCC Legacy, an underdog Australian champion cheerleading team, as they face immense challenges on their journey to compete on the world stage.

Building on this momentum, Tenacious Stories produced the award-nominated short horror Grounded, written by and starring Josephine, which gained recognition on the international festival circuit and is now available online. The company is currently in post-production on its debut feature film, Afterlight, written and directed by Ben Pfeiffer. This moving drama explores grief and the many ways it shapes individuals and families, with the potential to connect deeply with independent film audiences across the globe.

Looking ahead, Tenacious Stories is developing an exciting slate of projects, including the short horror Feedback, a feature-length horror The Quiet Caterer, and two powerful dramas based on real-life stories: one about Australia’s pioneering female doctor in the 1890s, and another spanning three generations of women whose lives are altered by a single, life-changing decision.
